This Weekend is All About Safety
Here at the Mauger & Co. Family of Businesses, we are all about safety. From the way our drivers operate trucks on the highway to the indoor air quality equipment we install in customers’ homes each day, our number one focus has always been the safety of our customers, our employees and the communities we serve. This weekend, to us, stands as an important reminder of how we can all do a little more in our homes and our neighborhoods to ensure safety for our families and others arounds us.
Halloween is such a great time of year for kids. Obviously, this year, like all things, trick or treating will be a little different. While families and communities will make decisions regarding the safest practices during trick or treating, we would simply like to remind everyone that it will be important to pay close attention on Saturday afternoon on the roadways as the kiddos will be out in their costumes before and after dusk.
Another annual marker visits us this weekend in the form of the end of Daylight Savings Time at 2AM Sunday, November 1st. And, while October is actually National Fire Prevention month, this is a great time of year to remind one another to check batteries and proper function of carbon monoxide and smoke detectors in the home. As we are heading into the heart of the holiday season, nothing is more important to ensuring safety than the proper function of these devices.
All of us here at the Mauger & Co. Family of Businesses would like to wish you a Happy (and spooky) Halloween!
